everyone loves a 1950s Rock n Roll party!

Let's get out your poodle skirt, shine up your saddle shoes and put a record on the record player...it's time to go back to the fifties!

You know, the Fifties was just the beginning of Rock and Roll. When Bill Haley's "Rock Around The Clock" became popular, the nation learned to swing to a whole new sound and move to a whole new groove.

The music was known as Rock n Roll and every teen around was dying to get on American Bandstand!

This is such a fun party idea that parents might want to get in on the action as well!

We know you could show these kids how it's done!



The 1950s rock n roll party is a very popular theme to celebrate birthdays, but it also works for graduation parties or any type of event. This is one party that your guests will remember! A Theme party is always fun!

Let's set the theme right from the start with some bright colored juke box invitations or maybe a 45 record. Or design your own!

Some party invitation ideas - musical notes, guitars, saddle shoes or even Elvis invitations! Anything that screams 1950's will work, so use you imagination and have fun!

First, have music from the 1950s playing in the background to get the party started. And don't forget that being dressed in your 50's clothes will add more to the party's atmosphere than you might think.

Set the mood by decorating the room like a 1950s diner. You may also want to hang some "records" from the ceiling and have diner food and drinks. Add balloons, blow up instruments, and don't forget the life size cut outs of your favorite fifties stars!
